The Bali Orchid Garden opened in 1999 and is Bali's only

orchids that flower right throughout the year including

and hybrids. You can see orchids from various parts of Indonesia
as well as orchids and other tropical plants from around
the world.
We also house a collection of other botanical oddities;
carnivorous pitcher plants from the jungles of Borneo and
Sumatra, Amorphophallus titanum, known locally as the Bunga
Bangkai or "dead body flower", the "Bat Plant"
also from South East Asia that has flowers like a bat in
flight and Bali's most comprehensive collection of Heliconia
with their distinctive tropical flowers.
The garden is approximately one hectare and a casual walk
